We are delighted to announce we are starting the search for a new Chair of the Court of Governors to lead John Whitgift Foundation through the next stage of its history.
It is 420 years since we were set up by the then Archbishop of Canterbury, John Whitgift, we remain committed to our vision to bring young and old people from all walks of life together to build a sense of community in all that we do. We are one of the largest bursary provides in the country; we provide care and housing for the elderly, and we have land and commercial assets in and around the town of Croydon. We are looking for a new Chair to build on the foundations of what has gone before so that we are able to contribute fully to supporting the community of Croydon.
