Marcel’s Story

Marcel was an exceptional student who was a recipient of a bursary at Whitgift School. Now having completed his studies at Whitgift School having achieved an outstanding 43/45 points in his International Baccalaureate he studies Natural Sciences at Cambridge University. During his time at the school he was the School Captain, Hockey Captain and founded the Chemistry Society.

Paul’s Story

Gabriel’s Story

Gabriel completed his studies at Trinity School having achieved A-levels in Economics, Maths and Chemistry moving on to City University, London to study maths. However, this is on hold while his Rugby career takes off playing and training professionally with Harlequins. ‘Trinity has inspired me greatly to pursue a career in Rugby. My proudest achievement is learning the game of Rugby, achieving the U20s honours and now training for the Harlequins professionally. I wouldn’t be where I am now without Trinity – it’s where I first picked up the rugby ball and progressed through my career, so massive thanks to the teachers and coaches that supported me through it.’

Alan’s Story

Alan was a recipient of a bursary when he enrolled at Whitgift School in 1953 and graduated six years later after a successful time at the school academically and in sport. ‘I think what sets Whitgift apart from other schools are the excellent facilities both academic and sporting. The assisted place gave me the opportunity that would never have come my way otherwise’.
