Trinity School has submitted a planning application to Croydon Council for new teaching, Sixth Form, and fitness facilities. These developments will support the school’s expansion as it moves towards becoming fully co-educational by 2031.
The proposals include new high-quality classrooms, a purpose-built Sixth Form Centre, a new fitness suite and landscaped outdoor spaces designed for students to enjoy throughout the school day. Improvements to the front of the school, including a redesigned pick-up and drop-off area, aim to enhance safety and ease for students, families and visitors.
The £40 million project, funded by John Whitgift Foundation, will be delivered without any financial contribution from parents. All current and future students, as well as local community partners, will benefit from the enhanced facilities. Works have been carefully phased to minimise disruption to teaching and learning.
The full planning application, including drawings and supporting documents, can be viewed on Croydon Council’s planning portal reference: 26/00331/FUL).
