John Whitgift Foundation is delighted to share that Juliet Jukes, currently Director of HR at the Chelsea Arts Club, is joining its governing body, the Court of Governors.
Juliet’s professional career has been spent in senior HR roles serving not for profit, charity and educational institutions, and she has significant experience leading complex organisational change.
Juliet grew up in Croydon and attended Croham Hurst school. She now lives in South London. Her appointment follows an open and rigorous process.
Chair of the Court of Governors, Fiona Fletcher-Smith, said, “We are so pleased to have selected Juliet to join our Governing Body as the Foundation moves forward to deliver its charitable objectives of education and care in Croydon. Juliet brings a wealth of professional expertise and a real commitment to Croydon. It’s fantastic that we will be able to benefit from that in the years ahead on our governing body.”
Juliet Jukes commented, “I am delighted to be joining the Foundation as a Governor. I look forward to contributing to the work of the Foundation, its schools and care homes and the local community.”

- Appointments to the Court of Governors are for a three year period with the possibility to renew.
- The Court of Governors comprises 15 members, responsible for overseeing the Foundation and for setting its strategic direction.
