Each summer, three wonderful garden parties are hosted across Whitgift Care, bringing together residents, families, staff and local communities at Whitgift House, Wilhelmina House and the Whitgift Almshouses.
Taking advantage of the beautiful gardens at each home, attendees enjoyed raffles, games and musical performances, cream teas, Pimm’s and of course the requisite endless supply of tea. One attendee said: “I don’t know what I expected, but what a lovely day! The staff are all so kind and seem genuinely happy to be at work, treating residents and visitors like members of their own families.”
Our care homes in Croydon support the elderly by providing attentive, tailored and affordable residential and nursing care, on a short or long-term basis. Wilhelmina House is our purpose-built residential and respite care home in Park Hill, Croydon. Whitgift House is adjacent to Whitgift School and provides nursing and residential care.
We also offer independent living in refurbished apartments next to Whitgift House, South Croydon, and at the historic Grade I listed Whitgift Almshouses in Croydon town centre.
